interesting facts:
The most distinctive archaeological findings in Cyprus are figurines of probably goddess of fertility.
Because of their common shape they are called cruciform idols. The largest of the figurines found in Pomos,
is made of steatite and has a size of 45 x 75 mm. It is dated to around 30th century BC. Today it is
presented in the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia.
