interesting facts:

In obverses of coins with face value 1 kroon from 1992-1995 there is a letter M rotated by 90 degrees at the head of the lowest lion. Its meaning is not yet explained.

The coins of this type were replaced in 1998 by a bit lighter coins struck from brass.
