In obverses of coins with face value 5 krooni from 1994 there is a letter M rotated by 90 degrees at the head of the lowest lion. Its meaning is not yet explained.

The commemorative coin of 5 krooni from 1994 was struck to commemorate the 75th anniversary of establishing the Bank of Estonia.

We're attaching a photo of Panga cliffs on Saaremaa island, which were the inspiration for the designer of the coin reverse.
