This commemorative coin of 2 euro from 2012 commemorates the 150th anniversary of birth of brilliant Finnish painter Helene Schjerfbeck (1862-1946). Significant part of her work was painting self-portraits initially in style of Naturalism and later in Expressionism. 36 self-portraits coming from different stages of Schjerfbeck's life were preserved.
