interesting facts:
This Norwegian commemorative coin of 10 kroner from 2011 commemorates 200th anniversary of founding the first university in Norway. Since 1661 Norwegians have been trying to open their own university, but for 150 years their requests have been rejected. Only on September 2, 1811 king of Denmark and Norway Frederick VI allowed to open a university in Christiana (today's Oslo).
