Maria Skłodowska-Curie (1867-1934), Polish scientist, phisicist and chemist. Discoverer of polonium and radium elements, the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes (in physics in 1903 and chemistry in 1911), the first female professor of University of Paris (La Sorbonne).
