interesting facts:
This coin belongs to the series promoting federal states of Germany. The castle of Schwerin was chosen the most characteristic for the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state. It was constructed on a lake-island and used to be home to dukes and grand dukes of Mecklenburg. Today it hosts the parliament of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state.
