interesting facts:
The last coin of the thematic series "Ships" shows a traditional Danish fishing vessel. Such vessels were built from wood and painted in white and blue colours. It is hard to tell which specific type of ship conquered Danish coastal fisheries, as boatbuilders from various harbours built such ships based on their own experiences. Very few wooden units have survived till now. Sails were replaced by engines and wooden hulls with metal ones. The picture shows a traditional fishing vessel from Lemvig (L.112).
